DSG seeks to help clients leverage digital technologies to engage customers, partners, and employees. In addition to managing client relationships, DSG helps define the strategic impact of converging web, social, and mobile initiatives.
Title: Senior Vice President, Digital Services
Reporting To: President, Digital Solutions Group
Key Objective(s) :
Sell and deliver high quality digital services while managing project teams to a 40% gross margin business delivering a minimum of $2.5 M annual incremental revenue.
Manage account relationships.
Recruit and build a strong team and be a key contributor to DSG’s senior leadership team.
Business Development: both “hunter” and “gatherer”, the ability to seek, find, pitch, scope and close deals.
Project Delivery: the ability to create, build and manage teams that deliver high quality project work.
Account Management: able to manage long-term client relationships while growing the business.
Ten years of senior management experience at a digital services company.
Proven track record of delivering 3M+ in self-sourced revenue over the past 5 years.
Demonstrated network of relevant industry contacts.
Solid understanding of a wide variety of current web technologies for website design and development.
Extensive experience in all digital marketing phases from scope, deliver and then manage a web site.
Possess intimate familiarity with all technical aspects of website development as well as the requisite marketing and creative sides of the business.
Previous experience with initiating and owning the delivery of large client initiatives.
Extensive experience building talented teams.
Ability to communicate technical concepts and ideas to non-technical audience.
Ability to translate broad marketing strategies into technical applications.
Demonstrated consulting, relationship building and influence management skills.
Proven self-starter and creative thinker.
Experience with establishing and growing an agency preferred.
Strong customer facing presentation skills.
Ability and willingness to work in a very fast-paced environment.
Advanced degree in Computer Science and Business a plus.
The successful candidate must be an exceptional communicator with a strong team orientation and a facility for developing data-driven solutions to help drive market share and profitability. While this position requires a strong digital generalist, preference will be given toward candidates with strong hands-on technical experience in one of the following areas:
Mobile Design and Development expertise: A leader with deep iOS and Android development experience along with selling and delivering mobile applications.
Digital Marketing: Extensive and deep understanding of SEM, SOE, email marketing, landing pages and social media marketing and experience selling and delivering these products.
High-End Branding and Creative Experience: Recognized leader in digital creative and branding. Able to build a creative team to deliver current offerings while developing creative work for future offerings.
