VP, Network Sales – Live Nation Entertainment (LA or NYC)

Job Description
The VP will be responsible for selling cross-platform marketing partnerships to Fortune 500 companies, both directly and through agencies that leverage Live Nation assets including venues, artist tours and events, digital, ticketing, mobile and content. The VP will call on both C-level and senior marketing decision-makers with clients, and senior account directors and marketing decision-makers with agencies. Responsibilities will include cold calling, prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing revenue opportunities. We are looking for a candidate who is well connected in market, a hunter, and a strategic seller wrapped into one, with a deep knowledge and understanding of brands and their marketing needs.

Responsibilities:
Achieving sales revenue goals
Building, refining, updating, and maintaining a pipeline of prospects
Understanding the marketing objectives of clients and their agencies, and determining how Live Nation can help them achieve their goals
Acquiring new clients
Tracking and updating all sales activity within Salesforce, our sales CRM system

Desired Skills & Experience
PASSION, borderline obsession for Music, Sports…Live Events.
Education: BA/BS Degree
Overall Minimum Experience: 8-10 years in cross-platform sponsorship sales, including digital and media experience
Strong contacts and relationships with marketing decision-makers and influencers at clients and agencies
Deep understanding of marketing decision-making structure and process within client and agencies
Deep understanding of client/agency relationship
Creative and strategic approach to establishing marketing partnerships
Proven track record in achieving annual quota
Excellent communication, writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well with team members
A leading work ethic and a competitive instinct to win
Charisma! A natural ability to sell and build strong relationships – both externally with clients and internally within the organization
Some travel required
