TMV is an independent agency offering music strategy and marketing services. We come from a music business background with extensive experience in the sharp end of the label, publishing and digital media worlds.
Our team has an extensive combined experience base and along with the creme de la creme of contacts in the industry having provided digital marketing strategy consultancy for the likes of Diageo, Darnell (BigBrother), Vodafone, Synrgzy, Hutchinson 3G, Find Tunes, SMART Mobile, jTV, MCI, 4D Interactive and YooMedia. We have also worked with a number of international record labels.
What We Do
Music Void Consultancy offers technology analysis covering market research, beta testing, strategy planning and implementation. A key focus is the mobile music and social media realm encompassing music discovery and marketing capacity. The company also offers digital marketing, campaign development and implementation project management services.

Jakomi Mathews – Director
Jakomi is a digital music and media practitioner who has worked with many successful digital music businesses. He has built an impressive network of the music world’s leaders and innovators. Jakomi has made keynote presentations on the opportunities arising from the digital, mobile, music revolutions at many international music industry events.
Chris McLellan - Director and Business Partner
Over the past 16 years Chris has been planning and delivering web and mobile web services in North America and Europe and generally kicking the tires of the interweb. His baptism in the digital world began in 1992 at Canadian digital networking pioneer Newbridge Networks. Since re-locating to London in 1996, he has helped drive the digital product and marketing strategies of several companies including global comms company MCI, interactive TV leader YooMedia, and social networking Agency 4D Interactive. In 2003 he spent 2 years in Artist Management in London’s notorious rock music scene (with Jakomi Mathews) and remains captivated by this complex and ever-changing business. Chris also spends a lot of time trying to justify the expense of his Squeezebox Duet.
Cassandra Callais - Researcher
Cassie is a recent graduate of music and media management, doing her dissertation on leading business models for the industry. A Yankee born and bred, she came to London three years ago to learn about the digital music market and in that time has worked with leading digital music companies including a tour of duty at aggregator The Orchard and research and blog writing duties at Musically. Besides ‘prog’ging it out and getting lost in between 1965-1973 her main prerogative is solving this whole digital debacle to get more hippie music into the world.
